Why is Polyurethane used for framed windows?

We use polyurethanes in one form or another every day – at home, in our offices and cars, for sport and leisure activities and on holiday. Polyurethane is a plastic (foam)  material, which exists in various forms. It can be tailored to be either rigid or flexible and is the material of choice for a broad range of end-user applications such as RV framed windows. Polyurethane Framed Windows are environmentally friendly, durable and act as a thermal insulator to keep warm or cold bridges outside the vehicle. They lead to energy savings and a reduction in CO2 emissions caused by heating and air conditioning.
