Leaking cooker gas tubes and gas regulators - Risk of serious injury!

The background to our recall-decision is information concerning a potential leakage of the Assemblies installed in cookers (cooker regulators and/or gas supply tubes).
Due to the leakage, an undetermined amount of gas can leak during the service life of the Products which can ignite where a suitable ignition source is present. As a result of this, A flame formation can occur around the regulators. Furthermore, it cannot be excluded In the worst case that the gas-air mixture explodes. This can seriously injure the users of our products but also uninvolved third parties.

How to check if your cooker is affected
- Is the installed cooker the original cooker you bought together with your vehicle?
If yes, please check the first registration or production date of your vehicle.
If this date is before October 2020, the cooker is not affected, and nothing needs to be done.
If the date is October 2020 or thereafter, you need to check the data label of the cooker.
If it is not the original installed cooker, you also need to check the data label of the cooker. - Did you buy the cooker from a dealer or retailer before October 2020?
If yes, the cooker is not affected, and nothing needs to be done.
If you bought the cooker from a dealer or retailer in October 2020 or thereafter, you need to
check the data label of the cooker.
If you don’t have the exact date of purchase, you also need to check the data label of the cooker. -
The data label normally is also provided together with the cooker manual.
If not available, the data label can be found on the bottom of the cooker.
If you have no access to the bottom of the cooker, your dealer/Dometic Service Partner
can help you with this check.On the data label, you will find,
1. SKU (96000…)
2. Serial number (17 digits)
3. Manufacturer (Emsdetten)
4. Designation code (51DL4986)
If the combination of all 4 (SKU, Serial nr. range, Manufacturer and Designation code) is valid, only then your cooker is possibly affected!

Recall OK label
If your cooker meets the 4 combination criteria but is already provided with a ‘Recall OK’ 2021 or 2022 label near the data label, then your cooker is not affected, and nothing needs to be done. It can be installed back into the kitchen top.

If you or your dealer/installer have (reached) the data label, and it has no Recall OK label, your cooker is affected. Please enter the SKU, first 3 digits and the last 5 digits of the serial number (SN) into in the fields of the configurator below and it will automatically tell you if the cooker is affected or not and what your dealer or Dometic service partner should check.

Should you have purchased one of the above-mentioned products, please stop using the product immediately, close the shut-off valve and keep it closed!
