Which type of cell technologies are available, or should I choose?

The type of cells define the efficiency of the module

• Polycrystalline cells: cheap, easy to produce, and less efficient (only for residential use with more surface) and can be recognized by the blue color
• Monocrystalline cells: more expensive, but more efficient (for use on smaller surfaces), can be recognized by the black color

Büttner-Dometic solar modules are equipped with monocrystalline (black) cells!
