Axopar has ordered Dometic NRX 50S for its entire 2025 production. Dometic’s latest model is the best-in-class marine refrigeration solution for functionality and efficiency, combining sleek design and quality finish with industry-leading energy efficiency.
The Dometic NRX S is designed for maximum efficiency, using up to 25% less energy than comparable fridge models. This is thanks to its compact compressor and electric module which consumes just 0.22kw per 24 hours and can be easily powerd by solar. The compressor speed adapts to ambient temperatures, offering efficient cooling in all climate conditions.
The NRX 50S, with 46L of cool storage and removable 4.4L freezer compartment, will be fitted as standard on the Axopar 37 XC Cross Cabin.
Axopar has used Dometic as its preferred supplier of marine refrigeration solutions since the company’s inception in January 2014.
The predecessor of the NRX S, the CRX 50S, is installed on existing boat models. Axopar has also used Dometic’s CU 55 cooling unit and VD02 evaporator plate as a tailor-made combination for all on-board refrigeration needs. The Dometic CoolMatic CD 20S, an elegant and compact drawer refrigerator, also features on certain boats.
In addition to these refrigeration products, Dometic has supplied its DVF vent filters for use in holding tanks.
Juhani Nikkanen, Materials Project Manager at Axopar Boats added: “We chose to integrate the Dometic NRX Series into our AX37 for a number of key reasons: its unparalleled energy efficiency aligns with our sustainability goals, its sleek design complements the AX37's aesthetics, and its exceptional build quality ensures reliable performance which is crucial for our customers' peace of mind.
The NRX Series’ versatility allows it to function as a fridge, freezer, or both, catering directly to a wide range of our customer needs. Additionally, its attractive pricing offers a cost-effective solution without compromising quality, making it the ideal choice for our AX37.”
Eric Fetchko, President of the Marine Segment at Dometic, said: “We are proud of our long-standing supplier relationship with Axopar.
It’s testament to the quality of Dometic’s innovative and smart solutions which are preferred for the market-leading vessels of this prestigious boat builder.
The NRX50S marine fridge will add an extra level of design, functionality, and efficiency to Axopar.”
The NRX S product line is available in six sizes, ranging from 35 litre capacity up to 130 litres. It was launched in the EMEA region in August 2023.
