Dometic introduces inflatable rooftop tent, compact enough for passenger cars

Catching the trend of weekenders who use their passenger cars for camping in nature, Dometic has created a lightweight and easy to pitch rooftop tent using its AIR Frame inflation technology. The Dometic TRT 140 AIR is compact enough to install on the roof of a regular passenger car, turning a commuter car into a camper in a minute.

Featuring Dometic’s unique single point inflation AIR Frame technology means this benefits from speedy 1 ½ minute inflation and incredibly quick break-down allowing you to get on with your stay away.
The new Dometic TRT 140 AIR is designed to make weekend trips easy and comfortable.
With included high-performance 12 V pump, the new tent can be fully inflated and ready in minutes.
This versatile rooftop tent features an innovative tri-fold base board which means smaller pack-size on a car roof giving extra space to transport a kayak or bike. This also allows fitting onto smaller vehicles.
The Dometic TRT 140 AIR utilizes breathable polycotton material, mesh windows throughout and an integrated foam mattress with an anti-condensation layer, all helps to reduce condensation and provide comfort in cold and warmer climates.
An optional awning is available that adds privacy and shelter. The Dometic RT Awning can be set up as either an all-round sunshade or a privacy room in a matter of minutes.
