The Dometic RU5 RV refrigerators are available in either the RUC 5208X compressor model or the RUA 5208X absorption model. Both models are single door upright refrigerators with an interior freezer, electronic control panel and use fan-forced circulation with T-rated performance.

The narrow and modern design means that the Dometic RU5 RV refrigerators impactless on the living space, creating an opportunity to add more bench space. The RU5 has a taller cabinet, fits more storage shelves and looks more like a domestic refrigerator.

The Dometic RU5 refrigerators provide T-rated cooling performance at both high and low ambient temperatures, making the RU5 refrigerators an excellent choice for all conditions. The interior circulating fan gives uniform temperature and fast cool-down whilst a variable speed exterior fan can be controlled from the central panel to suit conditions such as high ambient temperature.

The built-in control panel is intuitive and easy to use, allowing users to select a temperature range and a variety of pre-set modes. The control panel also features a built-in service mode that creates simple diagnostics if required. Coloured error messages are displayed alongside an audible alarm if errors occur.

“It’s all in the details with our new RV refrigerators. When you look inside, you’ll find three adjustable wire shelves that tilt back in the lower shelf to make sure wine bottles don’t fall out. There’s also a full-width crisper,including centre divider, with humidity control and there’s a strong interior LED light that comes on when you open the door,” said Ms Hsueh.

The RU5 refrigerators are easier to clean, have replaceable door gaskets, modern door bins, hidden evaporator fins, wire shelves with shelf guards and large bottom door bin with bottle fingers - all to ensure food and drink stay fresh and intact while living mobile.

There is an option to upgrade the refrigerator model already installed into a person’s existing RV or to purchase a new RV that already has it installed as a standard. Please request it be installed or replaced at the time of purchase if this is the preferred model.
